Football a game of passion and an emotion consuming activity is the most loved and most watched sports on the planet. It has seen a lot of memories and records. However, some football records are just so interesting, shocking, and looks kind of like mission impossible. Here are 8 football records in history that will probably never ever be broken.

- Thomas Sweswu
Thomas Langu Sweswu was a Zimbabwean professional footballer who retired in the year 2017. Prior to his retirement from the game we love he set an interesting and unbreakable record. He played an entire 90 minutes match for Kaizer Chiefs without touching the ball
- Liverpool
In 2019, Liverpool became the first professional football team in the world to accrue the most point in league season without winning the league. They had 97 points at the end of the 2018/2019 premier league season only to lose the trophy to Manchester City who had 98 points. Before them the recordholder was Real Madrid who had 96 points in the 2009/2010
- Jesse Lingard
Manchester united star Jesse Lingard who is a midfielder by trade played 25 consecutive matches for Manchester United without having a single shot on target.
- Real Madrid
It was impossible to win two champions league in a row but Real Madrid broke that record in 2016 and set and impossible and unbreakable one in 2018 by winning it three times on the bounce.
- Longest goal ever scored (by distance)
The longest goal to have ever been scored by distance to the net is that of Asmir Birgovich. The then Stoke City goalkeeper scored the goal from his own 18-yard box.
- Most goals in a calendar year.
We can never talk about footballs greatest records without this one. Lionel Messi holds the record for the most goals scored in a calendar year. His 91 goals for Barcelona and Argentina in 2012 which surpassed Gerd Muller’s record will perhaps never be broken.
- Goals scored in every minute of a football match.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimović are the only two footballers in the world to have scored a goal in every minute of a football match. This means they have scored a goal in the 1st minute to the 90 minutes of a football match.
- Player who hasn’t been offside in his career.
History has it that Zinedine Zidane is the only player in football history to never be offside in his career.
These are some amazing records that is like mission impossible and will be difficult if not impossible to break. Do you think this record will ever be broken? Which one amazes you the most? Share your views and opinions. I would love to hear them.
