Bundesliga confirms 10 positive coronavirus results in Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga
The German Bundesliga (DFL) has confirmed that there have been 10 positive test results for coronavirus in the top two divisions in Germany, following on from Cologne confirming three staff members had tested positive for the illness over the weekend. German football’s main governing body has stated there will also be a second phase of tests as it works towards a resumption of the season.
Karrius terminates loan deal with Besiktas.
Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius says he has ended his loan contract with Turkish club Besiktas following a pay dispute. The German is suing the Super Lig outfit for repeatedly failing to pay his wages during his loan spell at Vodafone Park, with his agent, Florian Goll, saying they had not paid Karius his full contracted amount between October 2019 and March this year.
Amid the legal action, Karius said in an Instagram post on Monday that he had been in discussions with the Besiktas ownership for months to try and resolve the issue, and that he was sorry to be leaving his team-mates and the supporters in Istanbul behind.

The Spanish ministry of health has confirmed teams will now be allowed to resume work, in a boost to hopes the season can be completed.
Players in the fully professional divisions of club football in Spain – the top two tiers – will be allowed to train alone at club facilities once they have been tested for Covid-19 by club staff.
The return to training comes after Spain was one of the worst hit countries in Europe by the coronavirus pandemic, however it raises hopes that the 2019-20 football season will be able to be concluded.

Tentative talks have begun regarding the location of the potential Fury vs Joshua bout, however it is far more likely a trilogy fight with Wilder will come first as he has activated his rematch clause and is unlikely to step aside.

Amiens ‘demand justice’ after relegation from French top flight.
Ligue 1 club Amiens has launched a petition “to demand justice” after being relegated from the French top flight before the season could be completed. The petition asks that the league’s governing body, Ligue de Football Professionnel, reconsiders its decision to relegate the two sides and instead play Ligue 1 with 22 teams instead of 20 in 2020-21.
This would include Lorient and Lens, who have been promoted from Ligue 2. The petition had reached more than 4,000 of its 5,000 target on Monday afternoon.
Coronavirus pandemic: Hard to see fans returning to football soon – FA chairman.
Football Association chairman Greg Clarke has said it is hard to see fans returning to matches “any time soon”. If the Premier League and Football League seasons resume, those matches will be played behind closed doors.
The Premier League is also preparing for the possibility of playing the 2020-21 season without fans. “The reality is that we just don’t know how things are going to pan out,” Clarke wrote in a letter to the FA governing council.
“But with social distancing in place for some time to come we do face substantial changes to the whole football ecosystem.
